How To Break A Losing Streak?

  1. Once you know your own style, start watching some professional tennis on TV or in person. This is not necessary but it can be a very helpful step. Look at where the pros hit and the tactics they use. Obviously you won't be able to use the same plays to perfection but it can put some ideas in your head.
  2. 3
Next, sign up for a tournament! Be sure to practice every day leading up to it, possibly at the same courts that the tournament will be played on.
  3. 4
Now your actual match has begun. Use the warm-up wisely!! Test all of the opponents strokes (forehand, backhand, volleys). Hit some balls up the middle and see which stroke they choose to hit. This can tell you what their favorite shot is, so keep in mind that it is probably their strength.
  4. 5
If you win the toss, choose to receive first, unless your serve is particularly strong. This will give you a chance to play some points without the added pressure of trying to hold serve.
  5. 6
Be consistent. Even if your style is an aggressor, don't go for a knockout winner on every shot. You can easily donate the match to your opponent before you know it. Use topspin to hit deep and set up points, always directing balls to your opponent's weakness if possible. Chances are they will miss if you get enough balls back so don't always try to be like Roddick.
  6. 7
If you're down in the score, try some new things. Use your head at all times!!! Start using some low slices, try to approach the net, hit serves wider, etc. Add variety and never stick with a strategy that has you losing
  7. Use these tips and win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dealing With Emotions

Have you ever lost a match and wondered later why you played the way you did?

A missed »easy« ball, a double fault or bad line call upset you so much that you lost your composure and concentration. What happened was that you allowed your emotions to influence you. You were unable to think rationally.

Or maybe you have been a victim of over thinking during critical parts of a match?

Whenever you had the opportunity to finish the set or the match or to finally get that break of serve, your mind started running all those negative scenarios which eventually became reality.Well dont let your emotions control you think of how good you are instead.

Foods To Eat Before And During A Tennis Match

Well first of all eat pasta the night before a match and 2 hours before. Have 2 bananas in your bag at all times there full of potassium. Fish and eggs are full of protein. don't eat all of them eat 2 ounces of each to have a variety of foods. Please stay away from energy gels and caffeine shots. the only kind of energy you want is natural from normal foods. Oyster and Octopus is also a great way to get some energy in your system. If necessary protein powder is not the best but better than nothing.Things that have carbs, electrolytes, and some energy.

Day before: Spaghetti, Roll, Salad

Day of: Sandwich, green beans, apple

Right before: Banana and Gatorade If you have a Question post it in the comments section.
Not just tennis players. but all sports stars eat a lot of carbs especially before they compete, things like potato, pasta, rice contain a lot of carbs so they can work them off and get energy, Pasta is a very common meal to have before a tennis match if your going to eat anything and also a banana.

My Last Epic Training

My last training was 4 hours long not including a 30 minute fitness training.
fitness is very important for stars like top players or beginners. So I always warm up before matches and remember always do stretches after your tennis training!!!!! stretches are important to have a good recovery. One example of a fit player is obviously Rafael Nadal he is always moving, in fact his tennis shoes are 2 sizes to small, that will hurt his feet and temp him to move them. Now to tennis, I will give you my top 5 winning tips for my tennis success.
